The Office for Māori Crown Relations – Te Arawhiti is disclosing the Chief Executive’s expenses, gifts and hospitality as part of its commitment to transparency and accountability.

Statement of Intent
As a departmental agency, the 2019–24 Te Arawhiti Statement of Intent ‘Our Goals 2019 to 2024’ is included in the Te Tāhū o te Ture Statement of Intent. The document sets out each of our strategic priorities and how we will help deliver the Government’s priorities for the Māori Crown relationship.
Carbon Neutral Government Programme
Under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP), Te Arawhiti is required to:
- measure and verify our emissions inventories;
- set gross emissions reduction targets; and
- develop an emissions reduction plan.
These reports cover the above and must be submitted to MfE by 1 December each year.
